Herzlich willkommen zur ersten Ausgabe unseres Literatur-Services im heurigen Jahr!

Wir freuen uns, Ihnen wieder eine Auswahl von kürzlich publizierten Studien, die mit unserer CNAP® Technologie (CNAP® Monitor, Task Force® Touch CARDIO, OEM) in den verschiedensten Anwendungsbereichen gemacht wurden, zur Verfügung stellen zu können.

Ein Beispiel ist eine ganz aktuelle Veröffentlichung einer Expertengruppe des University of California Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, USA, die der Frage nachgeht, ob nicht-invasive Technologien zur kontinuierlichen Blutdruckmessung das Potenzial haben, invasive Messungen zu ersetzen. Die Schlussfolgerungen zeigen, dass wir die arterielle Messung bei kritisch kranken Patienten zwar sicher nicht eliminieren werden, wir aber vielversprechende Einsatzgebiete für nicht-invasive Blutdruckmessmethoden sehen:

In the future, non-invasive continuous BP monitors will likely replace intermittent oscillometers in the operating room and the postoperative period.1

Der Vorstand der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Anästhesiologie hat kürzlich eine neue Leitlinie verabschiedet, die sich mit der intraoperativen klinischen Anwendung des hämodynamischen Monitorings bei nicht herzchirurgischen Patienten befasst. Die Experten empfehlen eine kontinuierliche Überwachung des arteriellen Blutdrucks bei allen Patienten, bei denen das Risiko für Komplikationen wie Hypo- oder Hypertonie besteht, aber auch bei Patienten mit niedrigem und mittlerem Risiko.
