Implementation of Interdisciplinary Syncope Pathway for efficient Syncope Management
A cooperation between CNSystems, Medtronic Austria and the SALK University Clinic in Salzburg, Austria, for the first time enabled the development and implementation of an interdisciplinary syncope pathway including Neurology, Cardiology and Emergency departments. The aim was to be able to assign syncope patients from the Emergency room to the appropriate department in a targeted manner and thus to facilitate individual decisions and diagnoses.
